It is to notify, that during the Board meeting of the Polish Psychiatric Association (PPA) on February 7, 2012, the decision has been adopted for the PPA to became an associated society of the International Review of Bipolar Disorder (IRBD).
At the same time, the Polish Psychiatric Association has authorized Prof. Janusz Rybakowski, Head of the Psychopharmacology Section of the PPA, to take all organizational steps connected with the collaboration with IRBD, such as participation of Polish psychiatrists in IRBD conferences, workshops organized by Polish participants etc.

in addition to your logo being displayed on the IRBD website there are a number of other elements that you are entitled to which I outline below:

* You are entitled to a free room at the Conference venue for 2 hours during the conference. We can offer a room to accommodate up to 30 people. You may wish to run a Polish Psychiatric Association meeting for instance. Please confirm whether this would be of interest to you. Please note that those you invite to your meeting, if not already registered for IRBD, would have to do so.

* However, that registration price is substantially discounted for your attendees. Anybody booking via the association is entitled to a 25% discount from their registration rate. They should book via our Registration Manager, Julie Ribeiro ([email protected]) who will ensure that the discount is applied or go to www.irbd.org/cnf-register.php Please inform delegates that they should quote Polish Psychiatric Association discount when in communication with Julie or when prompted to do so on the registration page. Please let me know how we can promote this discount to your membership. If you can do this directly that would be much appreciated. If there is anything I can do to help I am very happy to do so.
